Deleting your Lumenpage account

Last updated: 13 October 2026

You can delete your account and everything stored with it at any time.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Lumenpage and go to Settings.
  2. Choose Delete your account.
  3. Type the confirmation word when asked, and confirm.

This removes your account, your entries, your tags, your photos and the copy on that device. It cannot be undone, and signing up again does not bring any of it back.

If you cannot open the app

If you have lost your phone, or cannot sign in, email support@lumenpage.app from the address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Lumenpage account". We will reply to that address to confirm it is you, and delete the account within 30 days of confirming. Afterwards we keep only the dates of your request, your confirmation and the deletion, and we delete our emails with you 30 days after the deletion.

We never ask for your password, and we never need to read your diary to delete it. Please do not send any diary text by email.

What is deleted, and what is not

Your account, entries, tags and photos are removed from our servers when the deletion completes. We do not keep backups of the database, so nothing remains once the deletion completes, apart from a photo file that could not be removed at that moment, which is recorded so it can be cleaned up (see the privacy policy). If you turned on diagnostics, the anonymous usage and crash data we received is not linked to your account, so there is nothing to look up and remove.

Deleting one entry

That is not an account deletion. Delete the entry in the app; the full explanation, including how long it stays on the server, is in the privacy policy.
